Allie & Rae - Oakland / Berkley Engagement Photos

Allie and Rae are two of the most brilliant, kind-hearted, genuine people I’ve ever met.

Their connection is gorgeous.

So is their home! It’s full of light & excellently curated – Books, art, collections from their world travels, photos of past generations, and mid-century decor.
I love photographing people in their spaces… those are some of my favorite images to make. when you really love your home, you give it so much soul. :)

We started at their place in Oakland, with their sweet pup, Feta. After a couple of vodka + kombuchas, & a lot of laughing & catching up, we headed to wander the grounds of the Berkeley Botanical Gardens. The gardens are so incredible!! I definitely recommend going to visit all the happy plants if you’re in the area. then, we climbed up some rocks to take in the golden hour glow, looking out at the foggy San Francisco skyline in the distance.

I feel like there are these certain beautiful, soft moments that can only be fully captured through moving pictures…so I’m excited to share their video too, at the bottom of this post!
